I like the idea of calendars and planners but quite frankly, I really don’t want to keep up with them. I have enough to keep up with. Now what would be ideal is a dry erase calendar, where I don’t have to accumilate paper and, changes can be made without the calendar becoming messy. One of things I miss about my girls being little, is the gorgeous clothing I used to dress them in. I loved the girly girl outfits. I have younger boys now and there is not as much of a variety in boy clothing.

Okay so I tried a gym membership. Who hasn’t? I did really good for awhile and then life began to get in the way. I have a 14 and 11 year old who are running me in every direction with their activities. And, I have a preschooler and toddler (boys by the way), that are sucking up the rest of my time and energy! Oh and I have a husband who is not too happy about the amount of time or lack there of, that I spend with him.
What’s a gal to do? Needless to say, they gym has fallen off of the priority list, but I am determined not to let my health do the same. I am looking to lead a healthy lifestyle, that will include healthier food choices and incorporating some form of exercise. Now when it comes to getting fit without going to the gym, the first thing I think of is what I can do at home.
Now what are the first things that come to mind when thinking about exercising at home? Come on, I know it, we’re thinking the same thing. An exercise bike or a treadmill, yes! These type of machines are great for cardio and toning at the same time. A great thing about not having a gym membership and working out at home is, the money you’ll save in the long run. I am inclined to think that gyms probably make more money off of the people who pay and never go, than they do off of the ones who actually attend!
Well now that I will save money by letting go of the gym membership, I’m going to want to find some equipment that is not going to bankrupt me!
