Years ago after my grandfather passed, my grandmother lived alone.  After bouts with health issues she developed an issue where, she would black out at any moment.  At one point she blacked out in the kitchen and fell against her stove, breaking the vertebrae in her back.  I only wish we would have had Life Alert back then.
