Now ya’ll know The Glamorous WAHM is not white but she (in the picture) couldn’t be more “me” if I was, well without that fake smile, like those kids aren’t driving her crazy!  That is me everyday, on my laptop with two toddlers right beside me.  And do you know what I’m doing?  Yes, blogging definitely but aside from that, trying to find work from home!

I am working to build my blog with the goal for it to eventually be monetized and, to bring in a decent income.  I mean it’s wonderful to have an entrepreneurial spirit and all but, building a business takes TIME!  And, time is not what you have when BILLS ARE DUE!  Now I’m the kind of girl who does what she has to do to make it.  I checked into working outside of the home but quality child care for two toddlers would cost us over $1200 a month!  Umm, I don’t think so.  On top of that, we have one vehicle.  We have two daughters that go to two different schools and now that we have moved, thay can’t get bussed anymore and we have to take them.  After dropping the girls off at school I have to take the hubby to work.  If I were were working, after taking the girls to two different schools and the hubby to work, I would then have to drop the boys off at daycare and THEN finally go to work.  Well heck by the time I get there, I’d be leaving a few hours later cuz guess what?  I have to pick the girls up from where?  TWO DIFFERENT SCHOOLS! So there are several factors hindering my working outside of the home.

That is why, I am on a qwest to find work from home.  That’s pretty easy if you can take a job where you talk on the phone.  I tried that one twice!  Umm my house is too noisy, four kids and a hubby…you know where I’m going.  I blog, so I consider myself a writer but all freelance writing jobs want resumes.  Umm I’m  a stay-at-home mom.  I don’t have a traditional resume and I don’t know how to turn being a mom into a corporate resume!  I mean I know I’m skilled.  I can multitask. I work well with minimum supervision. I can stand under pressure. I’m a great personal assistant, just ask the kids and the hubby!  I’m pretty savvy on the internet, or at least *I* think so.  I also communicate well. I throw some great giveaways on my blog and I’m pretty good at recruiting companies to sponsor those giveaways too.

So, where is the job where I can utilize these skills, working from home (but not on the phone), and earn a decent, steady paycheck?  I don’t know ya’ll!  But I’m determined to find one!  I’ll make a deal with you, I’ll let you know what I come across and if any of you out there know of anything or come across anything, you let me know okay?  And by the way, no scams I know all about those.  No home businesses, those take time and I need money NOW!  And I’m not paying for anything.  I repeat, I AM NOT PAYING FOR ANYTHING!
