Remember that one night a church, you sent that man to tell me that I had stopped dreaming, and you wanted me to start dreaming again? Well God, I did it! I started dreaming! I have so many big dreams and ideas. I opened a children’s clothing boutique on Ebay, I started a blog, and I even went back to college. But Lord, there are so many problems right now. My dreams don’t seem possible.
My family is in a financial crisis. We have to move and can’t find anywhere to go and so far can’t get into anywhere because our credit isn’t good enough. We’re a couple of weeks from homeless. In the midst of this, I’m still blogging, hosting giveaways and still in school. How ironic that, I’m giving prizes to other people and can’t help my own family. I had to close the Ebay store because it wasn’t worth the money to keep it open. My dream is to design my own children’s clothing line and then an exclusive baby line. I want a blog that readers enjoy, puts out great content, hosts great giveaways, and brings in good money. But right now it all looks impossible.
Tell me God, do you want me to keep dreaming? I just don’t see how I can when I may not even have a place to lay my head. Do I keep dreaming when, no matter how hard I try or no matter how hard I work at things, I seem to get no where? I know you are the God of impossible, that you open doors no man can shut, the God of miracles. Tell me, can you send my family some of those? We really need a few right now. I know we don’t deserve them but I still thought I’d ask.

My heart goes out to you! I’m about a week away from homelessness myself… unable to pay the last of my tuition bills for the semester, having to beg people to borrow me money for money to pay car repairs, etc. I think its getting that way for a lot of people. But things will get better! Even if they get worse, first, they’ll get better. We just have to hang on!!!
Hi Glamorous WAHM –
I dreamed big when I was in my teens and twentys, and all those dreams came true…
then we had kids and I got so involved with being Mom and all the stuff the kids and DH needed that my dreams were neglected.
I’m now dreaming again and God is listening (he always was, I just wasn’t “speaking”). So dream, and dream small, medium and large dreams – you’ll be so glad that you did as God starts to answer your dreams.
I also recently read “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. It’s an old book, and it’s all about money, and my dreams are not, but the steps layed out in the book were very good to get me dreaming again. And it’s working.
All the best and Sweet dreams!
Health & blessings,
Susan
