Now-a-days we have to be VERY careful with the things we allow our children to use or even ourselves for that matter. Well I am not much of a tea drinker and working in a bingo hall in the past where tea was on demand, I never drank it…. While I was pregnant with my third child for some reason I always craved it! So I tried my friends tea and she just had the right touch and made it taste perfect! Well she moved over a year ago and I haven’t ever asked what kind or how much sugar etc. I just drink it when im there lol.. Tonight I made me some Orange & Spice flavored black lipton tea that has been sitting in my cabinets for about 2 months. I bought it hoping to try it and just never wanted too.. Tonight was the night
It smells like a sweet orange and taste the same but its a very light taste.. Its not a rough tea taste, so its great! I wasnt expecting to like it but I do! and so do the kids!

I was looking through recipes tonight and trying to find something mama likes for a change with out having to worry about spice and other things. I found this, although its a soup and my kids dont do good with soups. It wont be made for dinner because of that but Mama is eating this for lunch while my son is at school tomorrow! I thought I’d share because it seems fairly quick and extra yummy!!
Bacon Baked Potato Soup |
| Ingredients - |
| 3/4 cup chopped Leek, washed well and drained 4 large Garlic cloves, chopped coarse 1 tablespoon Olive Oil 1 (1/2 pound) russet Pre-Baked Potato 2 1/2 cups Chicken Broth 3 tablespoons Heavy Cream 1 1/2 tablespoons minced Fresh Chives, Bacon Bits, and Sour Cream |
| Preparation: In a heavy saucepan cook the leek and the garlic with salt and pepper to taste in the oil over moderately low heat, stirring, until the leek just begins to soften, add the potato, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces, and the broth and the heavy cream, and simmer the mixture, covered, for about 10 minutes. At this point you can also add some grated cheddar cheese into the soup if you like. When serving, add a dollop of sour cream on top and in the center of the soup. Garnish with bacon bits and chives. |

I love to smell good. My name is The Glamorous WAHM and I am a fragrance junkie! So when presented with the opportunity to review a new line of perfume from Sephora, I jumped on it right away. Although I love fragrances, I do not like when they are overwhelming and there are some…let’s just say…allergies!
But, this is not the case with Sephora’s Leslie Blodgett Perfume Diaries. It has a romantic smell to it. It’s just enough to stand out in a crowd but, not overpowering enough make everyone sick on the elevator. And I know we have ALL been there and done that one. It also reaks of class and power. When you walk past someone wearing this perfume, they WILL want to know who you are!

Fly Lady Challenge
The TGW team has taken on the Flylady Challenge and we invite you to take part with us! We have both reviewed and even began the challenge but fell short.
